Bengaluru-linked AI interactive content startup (SF HQ, Indian founders) raised a $40M Series B led by QED Investors on Sept 15. Its products are Flicks (interactive video that swaps person, product or scene mid-playback), Airboards (app-less interactive 3D) and Visual Agents (conversational AI characters).

New Delhi-based Puresta launched EVERQ on Sept 17, an AI skin-health platform that combines an AI skin assessment, dermatologist consultation, personalised treatment and ongoing skincare, with an 'AI Care Expert' companion tuned for Indian skin.

Google's new live voice-dialogue models (Sept 15) support 97 languages, take near-real-time visual input and run tool calls in the background mid-conversation. The Extended Thinking variant reasons and speaks at the same time; both are available in the Gemini API, AI Studio, Gemini Live and Search Live.

Google opened early access (Sept 16) to an MCP server that lets agents like Claude, ChatGPT, Antigravity and OpenClaw monitor and control Google Home devices and review camera history. It is US-only for Google Home Premium Advanced subscribers (about $20/month).

Anthropic merged Claude Cowork and chat into one app on Sept 16 and added Claude Docs and Claude Slides (beta on paid plans), with Claude Design now working inside conversations. Outputs can be edited, shared by link or exported to PowerPoint/PDF, starting with Pro and Max plans.

Anthropic's redesigned Projects (beta, Sept 17) put a coordinator over parallel Claude Code cloud threads, with shared project memory and a file/artifact library. It starts with select Pro and Max users, with wider access to follow.

OpenAI's legal AI foundation (Sept 17), built on GPT-6 Astra with a legal search index of 230M+ URLs, legal-analysis instructions and 26 partner plugins. It starts with selected law firms via Trusted Access, with the API (gpt-6-astra-law) coming soon.

OpenAI released a ChatGPT sidebar inside Microsoft Word on Sept 17 to draft from notes, summarize, revise selected text and adjust formatting. It is available on all ChatGPT plans including Free, within plan token limits.

OpenAI (Sept 16) began testing Sponsored Agents, business-sponsored conversational agents opened from a ChatGPT ad. It also added an Ads Manager plugin for prompt-based campaign creation, AI copy and image suggestions, and HubSpot and Shopify integrations.

Meta released a Mac app for its Muse personal AI agent on Sept 17. It works across local files, calendar, notes and messages with opt-in access and approval before sending or deleting; free download, US only, with paid Power ($20) and Maximum ($100) tiers.

SpaceXAI's new speech-to-text API (Sept 18) claims 2x the accuracy of v1.0 at the same price and ranks #1 on Artificial Analysis streaming accuracy. It supports batch and streaming, automatic language detection and diarization, at $0.10/hr batch and $0.20/hr streaming.

Estonian merchant-of-record payments platform shipped Creem 2.0 on Sept 17, the same week as a EUR 5M seed round. It adds checkout on your own domain, usage and credit billing, affiliates, analytics and an agent-operable CLI, at 3.9% + 40c per sale with no monthly fee.
